Four days full of tasting experiences, music, events and performances in San Daniele del Friuli, during which you can discover this magical place with its unique prosciutto and superb wines

A Celebration of Prosciutto

Stefano Bartezzaghi, Andrea Collavino, Masolino D’Amico, Angelo Floramo, Leonardo Manera, Antonella Sbuelz, Piero Sidoti and Gegè Telesforo will get together for a sort of symposium to launch a literary and artistic challenge, with music, readings, songs, poetry and all kinds of creative tributes that each of them will dedicate to the celebration of good prosciutto and good living. Hosted by Paolo Patui.

The Oasis of Ideas
In partnership with the W. Mesister bookshop.

Talk with author Fulvio Ervas, who will present his latest novel Si Fa Presto a Dire Adriatico, published by Marcos y Marcos.

Good living is possible. How, where and when?

Brief analysis of the quality of life in Friuli, among clichés, truths, theories, prospects and hopes. With guests Cristina Battocletti, Paolo Medeossi, Giuseppe Morandini and Renato Quaglia. Hosted by Paolo Patui. Sunday, 4 p.m.

SAN DANIELE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA
Walking and cycling itineraries.

Discovering the historic centre of San Daniele del Friuli. Guided visit of the monuments, the Biblioteca Guarneriana Antica and
the Museo del Territorio. Bookings by Thursday 26th June at San Daniele Tourist Office (Tel. +39 0432 940765 – info@infosandaniele.com). Admission cost € 7,00 per person includes the guided visit, entrance to the sites and a voucher for a tasting of Prosciutto di San Daniele to be enjoyed at the Consortium stands.
Tour departure times: Saturday and Sunday 10.30am and 3 pm.
Meeting point: via Roma 3, in front of San Daniele Tourist Office fifteen minutes before departure. Tour duration: approx. 2 hours.

Pedalling to San Daniele
Cycling from Udine, Codroipo and other locations selected by the FIAB (Italian Federation of Bicycle Friends) to San Daniele for a delicious prosciutto tasting during the festival. Cost: €5 per person (€2 for FIAB members).
Saturday 28 June, with departure from the various locations at 9.30 a.m.*

Families on Bicycles
Discovering the area around San Daniele on your own bicycle. A 22-kilometre itinerary on flat ground accompanied by a naturalist tour guide. Departure from Piazza IV Novembre on Saturday at 2.30 p.m. Cost: €5 per family.*

The joy of travelling entertainment offered by minstrels and make-up artists will delight children along the streets of the festival, on the way to the fun-packed show in Piazza IV Novembre.

Photographic exhibition – “Democracy and Representation”
Museo del Territorio – Via Udine, 4.
A series of unpublished photographs to reconsider the concept of democracy through different points of view, but all consistent with the notion of popular participation in public affairs.
Staged by the E. Battigelli Photography Club.

San Daniele. Nature, people, town, Friulian prosciutto.

Aria di Festa in Via Garibaldi.
During the Festival, the shop windows in Via Garibaldi, one of the central streets of commercial and cultural life in the town, will host the works of the photographers Mario Dondero and Marco Signorini depicting the surrounding area and the production of the local prosciutto.
